Whenever I can play a small part in helping CEOs and senior leaders—whose actions have multiplier effects on broad swaths of society—achieve ambitious goals. In the past year, we have seen business leaders develop life-saving vaccines, commit to improving social justice and equity, or simply pledge to create more inclusive environments for their employees. As advisors, our role is to help them evaluate the impact of their intended actions while supporting them in leading positive change.best ghsmart moment to date:
It’s a tie—both moments happened in 2020 which otherwise was a difficult year. 1.) Within a span of 4 hours, I received Facetime calls from two clients who were promoted to the top role within their respective organizations; 2.) Being voted by my ghSMART peers as the person they count on most for their own development and learning.what i love outside of work:
Foreign policy addict, trauma counselor, novice drum player, aspiring short story writer and taste-tester for my chef husband’s latest cooking “experiments.”

I help leaders think clearly about ensuring the right people are in the right roles doing the right things – including themselves.best ghsmart moment to date:
It’s hard to narrow it down to just one best moment but a recent day that came to mind included a sunrise beach walk on with our dogs, morning calls to clients in New York and London around important “Who” decisions, and an afternoon of writing before my flight to Chicago for an assessment the next day. I don’t take for granted that I can have a high quality professional and personal life at ghSMART.what i love outside of work:
Outside of ghSMART I’m often traveling to catch a favorite band, playing around Atlanta as a weekend musician, or doing what I can to support Charleston restaurants.

Being counted on by my clients and colleagues to have the real conversations that help them navigate their most pressing personal and professional decisions on their journey to becoming impactful and inspirational leaders. best ghsmart moment to date:
It would be easy to list the times where a client was successfully promoted into a senior most leadership role due to the impact of our leadership development work together. However, my best ghSMART moment to date was when the firm, especially the teams I work most closely with, rallied around to support me while I was out with a serious illness. The generosity and collective sense of ownership demonstrated by my colleagues is reflective of a key aspect that makes us the very best professional services firm in the world. For this I am forever grateful. what i love outside of work:
Playing basketball, mechanical watch and street art collecting, exploring new cultures through the lens of food and drink, playing guitar and being around to watch in amazement as my two daughters grow up.

I flew to a posh location in the tropics to meet with a CEO client for a coaching session in advance of her presentation to the board. In addition to a productive session and a memorable meal with the board that evening, my highlight was upon landing back home to collect my voicemails and hearing her elation and appreciation after the meeting, where she demonstrated why she is an A-player CEO.what i love outside of work:
