Andrew is a Principal at ghSMART where he advises senior leaders at private equity, hedge fund and Fortune 500 clients on critical leadership decisions surrounding leadership assessment, CEO succession and leadership development. Through his unique blend of experience, Andrew brings insight and expertise that help clients align their critical talent strategies to support key business outcomes.
Prior to ghSMART, Andrew was a Principal & Consulting Director at Korn Ferry Hay Group. Here he worked on a broad mix of projects including talent strategy, leadership assessment and executive coaching engagements across multiple industries such as life sciences, consumer products, technology and industrial manufacturing. In addition, he led the design and delivery of integrated leadership development programs that support and sustain organizational talent strategies. Before Korn Ferry Hay Group, Andrew was an Associate in the Global Industrial Practice of Heidrick & Struggles where he specialized in placing CEO and General Management candidates at Private Equity and Fortune 500 clients in the industrial manufacturing space.
Earlier in his career, Andrew was a Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting as part of the Strategy and Operations practice in both the Sydney and Chicago offices. Here, he led teams that advised clients on both growth and operational efficiency oriented M&A projects across industries such as financial services, private equity and media/telecommunications. In addition, he was the founder of a boutique careers advisory business focused on undergraduate candidates in the management consulting, investment banking and public accounting industries.
Andrew holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Commerce, with merit from the University of New South Wales in his hometown of Sydney, Australia. He currently lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife and two children.
