Nicole is a Principal at ghSMART where she advises public and private equity boards, investors, and executives on CEO and executive assessment, leadership development, talent planning, and team effectiveness. Nicole is a core member of ghSMART’s CEO Genome Project which encompasses extensive research and client practice to support first time CEOs and executives on the path to CEO. The Project also explores paths and behaviors that lead to the top, typical setbacks first time CEOs encounter, and ways to prevent them.
Prior to joining ghSMART, Nicole worked in Human Capital Management at Goldman Sachs, advising on talent and diversity initiatives within the Securities Division. At Goldman, Nicole facilitated Managing Director selection and oversaw Succession Planning for each business unit while evaluating the performance and potential of senior leaders. In addition, she implemented a comprehensive Black Engagement Strategy aimed at recruiting, retaining and developing Black talent and oversaw initiatives to attract and retain top tier and diverse talent.
Previously, Nicole ran her own consulting practice serving financial technology clients on issues related to business development. She also consulted for ghSMART on research that contributed to the firm’s CEO Genome Project.
Earlier in her career, Nicole worked at UBS Securities Inc., marketing Structured Products to institutional clients while working to bring non-traditional players into the distressed Mortgage Backed/Asset Backed Securities market. She began her career in Mortgage Backed Securities Strategy at JPMorgan, working on a research team that was ranked #2 by Institutional Investor, before transitioning to a trading role. While in trading, Nicole focused on increasing JPMorgan’s market share in Asia and was instrumental in developing new relationships with Asian banks and pension funds.
Nicole graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics. She currently resides in New York City.
