Nicolas is a Principal at ghSMART based in London. He serves private-equity, hedge-funds, and corporate clients on their most pressing leadership priorities, including leadership assessment, development and coaching, top team effectiveness and organizational change.

Prior to joining ghSMART, Nico worked as a Principal at BCG in London where he advised CEOs and senior executives predominantly in the Energy and Public Sector. He led Strategy, Operations, Digital, and Large-Scale Transformation projects across Europe. Nico also completed an internal secondment as a CEO Ambassador where he supported BCG’s CEO and Global People Chair on their top-priority strategic initiatives.

Before BCG, he spent five years at Oilfield Services company Schlumberger working as a Mechanical Engineer & Team Leader. He gained leadership experience in challenging offshore environments in the North Sea and West Africa.

Nico holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with Honors, a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and a MSc in Industrial Engineering from Arts et Metiers ParisTech. He currently lives in London with his family and in his spare time enjoys watching rugby, which he played at the international level in his youth.
