Kristin Van Ausdal is a Principal at ghSMART. She advises clients on leadership assessment, talent management and strategy, culture, and organizational change.

Kristin comes to ghSMART from McKinsey & Company, where she served U.S. Public Sector clients on their strategic and organizational challenges. She was also Head of Talent for McKinsey Periscope, a software solutions platform, where she advised leaders and led strategic and tactical people topics such as recruiting, career paths, employee health and satisfaction, and retention for technical talent. She has a personal, collaborative approach to leadership and deep expertise in helping technical talent thrive.

Kristin is a graduate of the University of Michigan and a former professional violinist. She lives in Chicago with her two dogs and loves spending time outdoors. Yes, even in the winter.
