Thor joined the firm in 2008, and he supports premier hedge fund managers, private equity investors and CEOs in building the teams required to achieve their goals. He is a sought after coach for executives and investors looking to hone their edge and maximize their impact. Thor leads ghSMART’s non-profit practice and consults to the boards and leaders of universities, museums, social impact organizations on leadership, culture and governance. He was ghSMART’s first head of DEI and has a passion for injecting values into organizational life.

Thor is on the faculty of the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology where he teaches and supervises the research of future organizational psychologists.
