Personal Information

    We occasionally may ask visitors to our web site to complete online surveys and opinion polls about their activities, attitudes and interests. These surveys help us serve you better and improve the usefulness of our site. In conducting these surveys, we may ask you for your name and e-mail address. We do not keep any personal information about you in connection with your participation in a ghsmart.com survey unless you specifically agree to provide that information.
  • Order Reports
    If you would like to receive the printed ghSMART Brochure by postal mail, you may ask for a copy on our web site. We ask for your contact information so we can send you the report.
  • Contact ghSMART’s Board of Directors
    On ghsmart.com, we provide a postal address and an e-mail address so visitors can report any complaints or other concerns. If you e-mail us, please be aware that you will be providing us with your e-mail address and any other information you include in your e-mail.

Non-Personal Information
We collect certain aggregate and non-personal information when you visit this web site. Aggregate and non-personal information does not relate to a single identifiable visitor. It tells us such things as how many users visited our site and the pages accessed. By collecting this information, we learn how to best tailor our web site to our visitors. We use log files to store the data that is collected through web beacons ghSMART also uses third party web beacons to help manage online advertising. These web beacons are provided by our ad management partners, DoubleClick, and Omniture. The cookie on your web browser could be placed by ghSMART, or by another advertiser who works with DoubleClick. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address. We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal information about our web site visitors, except as described here. This web site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen on the site. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under the age of thirteen on the site, we will delete the information from our records.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE FROM ASSESSMENT CANDIDATES AND PARTICIPANTS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

In providing our services, we collect information from assessment candidates (“Candidates”) and participants (“Participants”), including personal information. This section describes how we collect, use, and disclose Candidate and Participant information. By participating in one of our assessments or consulting services, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this policy. Participants include anyone who provides data as part of ghSMART services. This policy does not apply to European Economic Area residents where we communicate a separate policy due to regulation requirements.

We collect information directly from Candidates and Participants through interviews and questionnaires. The information we collect may include information about work history and personal experiences.  In addition, we may gather information from other sources pertaining to such Candidates and Participants.  We primarily use this information to conduct Candidate assessments, to prepare reports as requested by our clients, and to fulfill the deliverables of our client agreements.

In addition to Candidate assessments and other client deliverables, as permitted by applicable law we also use and disclose Candidate information as follows:

  • Sharing Candidate Information with the client who requested services from us pertaining to the Candidate.
  • Performing research on our assessments and using anonymized, deidentified and/or aggregated information for books, articles, white papers or other publications.
  • Disclosing Candidate information to our third-party service providers for executing the administration and operations of our business including, without limitation, storage of data in cloud servers operated by third parties (such as Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, or other infrastructure providers), for antivirus software scanning, document management (such as DocuSign) related to agreements or forms, and outside editors for document review and document production.
  • For research and analysis conducted by some of our third-party partners. This may include individuals, entities or other organizations we use to conduct research and data analysis.
